The Certificate III in Barbering (Apprenticeship) involves theory and practical work which will develop your skills in traditional and contemporary barbering services and in working as a team within a barbering environment. Such skills may include communicating in the workplace, consulting with clients, selling products and services, and designing and applying a broad range of technical barbering services on clients.
Our Apprenticeship pathway allows students to study Barbering while working within a barbering environment. The course is delivered in consultation with employers to ensure that each apprentice and their employer are successful in the progression of the apprentices training.
After finishing the Certificate III in Barbering qualification, you will be a qualified barber with a range of well-developed skills.
MMCollege recommends that as part of your course, you invite your family and friends to practice on. A small fee will be charged to cover the cost of products and services. If you can’t find models, MMC will attempt to source clients for practical sessions.
